Tell me that you're not trying to run more than one desktop configuration by using Xinerama? Methinks you have the wrong end of the stick, my friend ;)) As for trying different wms - easy. Find out what the program is called (i.e. enlightenment). Load up X. Open a shell. Type 'killall enlightenment'. Then, the screen will go all odd. You may need the mouse pointer over the shell window to be able to type into it. To run (for example, sawmill) type 'sawmill &'. Presto. Cheers, Alex. */ There are easier ways. Or use Dyde (you can get the RPM from SuSE)
