I very much doubt that after the 2.0 release KDE2 core technology is going
to change. As with almost all things Linux, KDE2 is optional. There is no
stigma attached to using it or hating it, the choice is yours.

However, my original statement stil stands - it's on the CD for folk to
try without downloading 20-odd MB of RPMs or whatever to get it going.
It's worth a try just to experience <mystic_meg_mode>the next big thing in
office productivity suites </mystic_meg_mode>.
