[Sheflug] NCR5380
Hi,
I have had exactly this problem, and I found that the only way to get it to recognise it at boot is to compile it into the kernel. Of course, if it is needed DURING boot, this is what you must do anyhow.
I couldn't seem to get it to autoload on request though. It just said device not configured until I modprobed it. I only had about an hour and a half to play with it, but I couldn't get it to work at all like this. Worked just lovely after the modprobe, tho'!
