Oh, I just realized - if you DO want your drivers to be loaded at boot up,
why don't you just include "modprobe ..." in your /etc/rc.d/boot.local? In
my case it's different - I do NOT want the drivers to load at boot up -
only on request. Yes, I do have those
alias char-major-14 cs4232
pre-install cs4232 sound
options ...
(writing from memory... but it works on modprobe cs4232)... I tried ALSA,
but couldn't get 'usual' programs to work with it, only aplay (have to
RTFM, I guess?:-)
