[Sheflug] Gentus (was RE:Print post cable modem)
It seems that the Gentus distro has been dropped by Abit. They apparently used GPL code to make proprietary software for use in the distro, and when questioned about it, dropped the distro rather than GPLing it.
They were obviously trying to cash in on the Linux hype by getting folk to buy it's boards, without releasing its mods to the public, hence trying to monopolise on the Linux drivers for it's boards. ie, only out distro supports it properly, so use it or get lost. I'd rather use Gigabyte or TMC boards, TBH. They are well supported, and I have never had a bad one yet!

[I'm running a RH clone called Gentus, only Linux I've been able to install.]
