The Manchester Linux User Group (ManLUG) will meet on Saturday
17 February at 14:00 in the Lascelles Williams room on the ground
floor of the Computer Building, Manchester Computing, in the
University of Manchester on Oxford Road, between Booth Street
and Brunswick Street.  We are building 38 in the map at
http://www.man.ac.uk/welcome/campus1.html.

Marco Skambraks, the (blind) developer of BLinux will be presenting
something about his work, and there may also be a presentation
about the new S.u.S.E 7.1, though I have not yet had details of
either talk.  Because of personal complications, I shall not
be able to come to this one, but John Heaton has kindly agreed
to take this on.  Because there may be several new people here,
including some blind people, I hope some of you may be willing to
get here a little early and help the strangers find their way
to the room, if necessary.

On Saturday March 17 at 14:00, in the same place, we shall be
having an installfest.  There will certainly be S.u.S.E, Debian,
and Red Hat users there; please help if you can.  Often on these
occasions we have people who don't necessarily want a complete
installation, but rather support with some particular device or
configuration issue.  Almost all experienced Linuxers can help
with this.

On Saturday April 21 we expect a visit from one of the Squid
developers, who will talk about web caching and acceleration.
I'll give you more details as soon as I have them.

I hope people will continue to come forward with ideas and
presentations.
