Interesting idea, as dialup connections are moving to the minority in the
US and should do here within the next 2 years, BT permitting.
When NAT and always-on networking is the norm, I would imagine Linux would
wipe the floor with Windows.
Dialup connections always have been a nightmare (speaking as a long time
internet user with both Amiga and Linux which have never been supported).
