Re: [Sheflug] NFS - getattr fails...

At least somebody tried to help:-) I posted this Q on
comp.os.linux.networking - no reply. Ok, the problem is solved though:-) I
told - I am NEW to networking, and I WAS missing something VERY simple - I
read NAG (old), and it only said to start rpc.mountd and rpc.nfsd. There
was NO MENTIONING of exportfs!:-) I found a reference to it somewhere
(News?), and checked - SuSE6.4 did not have it! Well, I thought, meybe
it's not needed:-) But then I went on and found the NFS-HOWTO (easy, isn't
it?:-)). So, I upgraded nfs-utils, started rpc.mountd, rpc.nfsd, exportfs
-a - et voila!:-) It works - woo-hoo!:-)
