It does indeed sound like advocating software piracy. I told him that much.
Anyway, you can reboot VMWare. Just have to distract him while I put it back
in full screen mode ;-)


Problem is, my gateway/mail server is already installed and in use. I can't
use it's disk, so I'll have to borrow one. I have also managed to, erm,
'acquire' a copy of Win98. Don't tell Bill I said so...

Try taking the disk out of the box you're going to use as the router,
put it in <box that meets the hardware they want> for a while, and
install windows on it to keep them happy?

although without a copy of windows, I can see that being difficult :)
