[Sheflug] ALSA and RedHat

Has anyone had any luck getting the ALSA drivers/utils working on RedHat?

I kinda had it working but it seems it refuses to coexist with OSS
properly.
I think SuSE comes with ALSA as default, but RedHat will only ship it when
it's in kernel.
