>From Owen in Manchester........

The Manchester Linux User Group (ManLUG) will meet on Saturday
17 March at 14:00 in the Lascelles Williams room on the ground
floor of the Computer Building, Manchester Computing, in the
University of Manchester on Oxford Road, between Booth Street
and Brunswick Street. We are building 38 in the map at
http://www.man.ac.uk/welcome/campus1.html.

This meeing will be an installfest. There will be S.u.S.E, Red
Hat, and (I hope) Debian users there; people will bring in
machines and and volunteers will install Linux on them. Please
help if you can. Often people turn up who don't necessarily
want a complete installation, but just help with some particular
device or configuration issue. Almost all experieced Linux users
can help with this.

On Saturday April 21 we expect a visit from one of the Squid
developers, who will talk about web caching and acceleration.
I'll give you more details as soon as I have them.

I hope people will continue to come forward with ideas and
presentations.
