Try enscript. There's also pstotext, which I never used... just noticed in
man -k. Looks like ps2ascii does choke on many postscript files... (maybe
old version, maybe only postscript-1 capable - dunno, just doesn't
work). Did you hope to get HTML from it? AFAIK, it just extracts text (or
was the text in .ps - html?:-)).
