[Sheflug] CD-Writer

Dear All

I've finally given up using my LS120 and got hold of a CD-Writer which
I know works very well under Linux. It's an IDE device.

Also got 128Mb of 100MHz RAM for 35 pounds cash. Anyone done any
better ? My workstation now has 256Mb of RAM.

The problem is that just like my LS120 drive I can't work out what to
do with /etc/fstab to get my system to recognise the second IDE CD-ROM
drive on my system. Previously the LS120 was recognised as the second
IDE drive. I've put the new CD-Writer on the cables that were
attached to the LS120. My present fstab looks like this....

/dev/hda3	/	reiserfs	defaults 1 1
/dev/hda1	/boot	ext2	defaults 1 2
/dev/cdrom	/cdrom	auto	ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
devpts	/dev/pts	devpts	defaults 0 0
/dev/fd0	/floppy	auto	noauto,user 0 0
proc	/proc	proc	defaults 0 0
/dev/hda4	/usr	reiserfs	defaults 1 2
/dev/hda2	swap	swap	defaults 0 2
/dev/hdd	/LS120	auto	noauto,user 0 0

works fine nothing wrong with it :)

Does anyone know what to change so that my system recognises the
CD-Writer ? Obviously I'll have to remove the LS120 line. Just a
case of what to replace it with.

Thanks

Richard
