I just wondered if anyone had any recommendations before heading of trying to
convinve PC world sales-folk that I really dont want a WinModem or a scanner
(they get confused easily).

I could tell you about the time I actually had to go and fetch an old PSU for
them to realise that when I said 'Power Supply' and 'PSU', I did not, in fact,
mean a mains lead or a 4-way block. It took 4 sales
