[Sheflug] Re: News From Sheffield Uni's Steel Press.
Hi Richard,
You're welcome to hold Sheflug meetings at Access Space.
In fact, as a learning and skill-sharing space powered completely by
Linux it seems... kind of appropriate! I should mention that we're
opposite a pub, so post-meeting drink would be very convenient.
Just one condition, though - no techno-snobbery! We work with
zero-cost technology and our mission is to get as much creative fun
out of trash computers and free software as possible. (Which is why
we use Linux!) We're not really up for being impressed by people who
want to show off with, "Hah! My Desktop machine has more power than
your whole network!".
Then again, I'm sure that all Shefluggers are much more sensible than
that - after all, it's not the size of your hard disk that matters,
it's what you do with it that counts!
Call me and let's get a plan together!
Cheers,
James
