This bios setting, when set to "Yes", bypasses all BIOS detection of 
preipherals (built in and not) on startup, assuming that the OS will do it 
instead. Set it to "No" for Linux. Linux PNP detection PCI and ISA is neither 
perfect nor complete (!) - some things are detected, others are looked for in 
the BIOS detection tables.
