[Sheflug] Scientific Progs
Well after my complaint about the lack of scientific software for
GNU/Linux I just thought I'd better a little bit of that back. I've
just finished the lab report I mentioned, it's about 7K words and all I
can say is Lyx is ace. How do people write such things in Word,
Star writer and the like. I imagine I'll now get some heckling from the
true LaTeX jedis in the audience, but hey I'm only a beginner in these
things. Anyway all I need now is some software to plot my graphs.
I looked up Ptolemy which Chris mentioned, it looks cool but it's not
really what I'm after, it's more of a dsp tool kit. Scigraphica is next
on my list.
I apologise for this mostly irrelevant posting
Simon.
