Have you discounted upgrading to Mandrake 7.2 / 8.0 beta? I'm no expert
(so very qualified to talk about easy instals!) but I have consistently
found Mandrake extremely easy to install and very user friendly.

I'm on 7.1 myself at present but will probably make the move when 8.0
comes out. I'm looking forward to using Koffice and Konqueror (in
Windowmaker obviously).
