i'm running 7.2 at the moment..... the upgrade from 7.0 was straightforward. 
however, i feel it's release was a bit premature (or maybe it was just kde2 
which was premature!) it has several irritating bugs (read krashes). i'm 
hoping 8.0 is a bit more stable (hence the downloading of beta8.0).
i fully expect the upgrade to 8.0 to be equally straight forward (this is one 
aspect mandrake have spot on :-) i'll let you know what the beta is like as 
soon as this painfull download is over........
