Nope i haven't dicounted 7.2 . ihave tried 7.2 demo thought there was alot
stuff missing from the distro and was just 7.1 with kde2 and gnome 2.1
I need something that will have enough scope to update without have to be
deleting rpms and being hit and mising every time I want to update or add new
software to the system. I would like to able to be able to ask the distro to
get the pakage and install it for me with me having to clean up the mess if
some installation that i do gose wrong now that kde 2.1.1 is availible i would
like to able to install that and be able to have access to it new features
such as konquer 2 (mozilla and netscape are getting to me)and koffice.
also i don't have the bandwidth or time to download programs to update the
current old but very reliable distro.

i would alos be intrested in mandrake 8.0 If it all that it says it is i am
hoping it is not another redhat 7.0.... i am not saying it bad but how do you
justify releasing a distro that still in need of testing and bug swatting
before being fully released.

all the best
