[Sheflug] Linux Install Day

Did anyone know about this? Linux Install Day, April 29th (this coming
sunday), nationwide. First I knew was small article in Independant's
Network section.

It's basically there to allow people who have never used the beast before
to bring their machine along, and have people that know what they're
doing (hopefully) to install it for them.

The central orginasation point is www.linuxday.org.uk - looking at it,
the nearest "linux install centres" (for want of a better name) is
probably Ashby-de-la-zouch, in sunny Derbyshire...andon the website they
provide you with a form for the user to fill in what sort of install and
config they want ... (server/workstation, internet yes or no, current OS
you'll be installing it with, CDRom, etc...).

Comments? :)
