I couldn't find KDM on SuSE's site, so I assumed it was bundled in with
kdebase or something. I've removed all KDE and QT packages with YaST,
then installed the new ones - again using YaST, and it doesn't complain
about any conflicts or missing packages. This is what I get if I type
< konqueror > into a terminal - whilst using WindowMaker:

konqueror: error while loading shared librariefs: libkdefakes.so.3: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory

Does that make any sense?

Richard, how much for KDE 2.1.1 CD's? Could you burn a copy of KDE for
Debian as well? I can never set X correctly with Debian - but they'd be handy
when I eventually do. I live in London again so you'll have to let me
know how much to send you. Is that okay?

That's what I'm doing. I use WindowMaker more than KDE anyway, so it's
not really interfering at the moment. I'd like to use Konqueror, Koffice
and KDM. The reason for the update is that I find Konqueror too unstable
at the moment, I don't know if that rings any bells with anyone using
2.0.1? I just got carried away downloading all those other packages.

Thanks

Harvey
