Don't know. What's the error message? I don't see KDM on your list, btw.

If the RPMs installed correctly and your X is broken, it's a SuSE problem
and you probably ought to tell them about it.

In the meantime, you could boot up to non-graphical mode, login, and
'startx'. That should get you your desktop back.
