Dear All

Finally got hold of it.   Does anyone know the correct configure
option for an SuSE 7.1 system ?  Every time I build one of these Red
Hat apps it exits ./configure with exactly the same error message.

Yes, all the right RPMs are installed.  Error message below......

So, I remember from the last one that I built that gnomeConf.sh isn't
in /usr/local/lib so ./configure doesn't know where it is.  I have to
tell it what to do.
