yep, just make sure it is THE 2.2.18, supplied by SuSE for this particular
purpose...

you'll have to trust libc.rpm and the corresponding <kernel_headers>.rpm,
unless you want to recompile glibc yourself... I once did it - I didn't
know then how potentially dangerous it can be... surprisingly, it
worked:-), but I won't do it again UNLESS it's ABSOLUTELY necessary:-)
