Probably the only business in the world where you can have a "business
plan" that says "we're going to put all our investors money in a big pile
and set light to it". At the end of the day you don't see people set up
business with 0 revenue getting millions invested and spazzing it all on
flashy adverts and Ferraris. The fact that most VC money is arranged by
peoples fathers, uncles etc. putting in a good word, and it's amazing
there haven't been fraud charges brought.
