Well... galeon replaces the various amounts of memory used by XUL in
mozilla, with GNOME.... which although probably slightly better, isnt
much of an improvement.

Konqueror is fast, and relatively light although it seems to leak
various amounts of memory when viewing big images.

Or if theres skipstone (http://muhri.net/skipstone/) which uses gecko,
and gtk+ (slightly lighter than galeon, because of the lack of GNOME)

But, if I want to look at something quickly, or in many cases, just
because I prefer it. I've found myself using
Links (http://artax.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~mikulas/links/) not really
through any concious choice, and it wasnt until I started writing this,
that I realised how much I used it. But its by far the best text based
browser I've seen. (supports frames, tables, colour, etc.)
