The PC I tried has 64M and a 2G HD. The SuSe installation /appeared/ to go
o.k., but it couldn't 'find' the mouse (it's serial only on this machine).
Being totally unfamiliar with Linux, I couldn't face the steep CLI learning
curve, so abandoned the project!

A later attempt with Mandrake failed to even run the setup program, and
CorelLinux loaded completely but fell over every time I tried GIMP :-(

If nothing else...it shows I'm determined!
