erm.. just to add something on to the end of this......  At one time 
Covalent Technologies had an office in Sheffield.  Many years ago.  
They are the people who are now in San Francisco who produce Apache 
security stuff for the FBI.

If your web browser and ID has been detected by Apache and a few 
other things as the person the FBI hates then you are not allowed 
access to a web site or possibly even certain web addresses by e-mail.

Looks to me as if Microsoft are trying to make Randy Terbrush and 
friends at Covalent look like idiots.  Randy who is the CEO of 
Covalent is a BSD man and will always be that way.  Hotmail used to 
run on BSD and now runs on Win 2000.

If you would like to view some statistics for Win 2000 then go to.... 
www.netcraft.com and put "www.hotmail.com" into the search engine.

Our own stats for www.sheflug.co.uk are also there but I have to 
admit that they have only been running for a short time.
