[Sheflug] reply-to and this list?

hi,

this is probably one for the list admin but feel free to add your 2p

how does the sheflug list server protect itself against poorly configured
autoresponders? (ie masses of bounced mail)

i recently read (well... bits of :-)RFC 2822 this led to a discusion about
mailing lists not being the origonator of the mail we all recieve and hence
doesn't comply with the RFC (ie reply-to should have the senders email
address). don't get me wrong, i much prefer the current setup and am not
looking to have it changed. just currious as to how this and other lists
(kde,fltk...) all prevent this type of 'valid' bounced mail effecting the
list.
