[Sheflug] Congfigure Zip-drive?

Help!

I've just added an atapi internal zip-drive to my pc, and Linux successfully
recognised its presence and went thro the 'configure' process. However, it
doesn't appear in the file manager. I presume I need to tell Gnome and/or the
file manager about the drive?

Explanations in simple english for a simple person, please :-)
