RE: [Sheflug] apache root directory



If you can gain access as root or the owner of httpd.conf, check that the
user directory option is enabled.
I think the option is UserDir, this points allows you use
http://www.your.domain/~user/ this will point to what ever is set in
httpd.conf, the default is ~user/public_html.

I think there is another option to enable, but it is clearly labelled. I
don't have apache to hand here.

After saving this you will need to restart apache on my home system this is
/etc/init.d/apachectl restart,
