[Sheflug] the deamon died

after several attemps last year to get suse 6 running, with no success I got
mandrake 7.2 today. 5 quid in a car boot. Looks like never been used. Any
way tried to set up for internet,I know all the info I input is correct but
I keep getting the message ppp deomon did unexpectedly exit status 16. I
have trid setting up thru linuxconf but I can't figure it out I seem to
recall in suse there was another way to do this & that kppp was not the
favourd jobbie.
any help pleeze..
