Re: [Sheflug] Slackware RPM Problem



Thanks for your help. I've been using alien to convert them for a while but I thought I message and see if anyone could help me. If I install an RPM without dependencies will it just use the libs from /usr/libs or whatever?

There are a couple : --force works, and does one thing (I think it overrides
any interactivity; do check!) and --nodeps is the 'ignore dependencies'
option (if memory serves... :)

Alternatively, why not use alien to convert to a slackware package and
install using the slack tools?
