You should not even need the MAC address, just the DHCP server.
The only problem I had with this was that my girlfriends laptop was using
domain authentication and so the first login (Windows domain login) failed
but she used the second login (Windows networks) and this works.
I think windows uses logins in the following order if set up to, Domain,
Windows Network, Windows Login, the latter two do not need any remote auth.
The only other problem I had was cross domain browsing under samba, I could
connect using the PC name but not using the brower.
