We'll be distributing some Bluetooth products once they are fully launched.
The manufacturers are writing their own stack but unfortunately, only for
Windoze. It would be nice to have some experience in using Bluetooth with
other OS's.

I have a SuSE 7.0 machine (kernel 2.2.16) not doing anything particularly
useful at the moment. As I'm still very much a Linux novice, what would be
involved in upgrading the kernel to 2.4.6? Would it be necessary/worthwhile
in upgrading X etc too?
