To say that it was absolutely incredible would be something of an 
understatement.  The hotel that I stayed at was ....

the food and wine was of typical Belgian standards which are very 
high.  The local beer is the best in the world.  Better than the 
English stuff by several miles.  As an example... I brought back some 
Grimenberg Brune which is 50p per bottle.  It's 10% by volume.

Monsieur woz able to find a leetle more space pour l'ospitalite and 
ze fine pate which woz not jus' ordinaire.
