Is 'Don't use proxy for local servers' turned on? And is WinGate active on
the local address (127.0.0.1)? I don't know how Win2k filters packets, but it
may be quite different to Linux.

Depends how you were routing it. You weren't trying to get your home PC
(192.168.0.1) to communicate with the company network (192.168/16) via a
gateway (192.168.1.1) or something, were you? It depends on the exact
configuration - some things won't work at all, no matter what software you
use ;)

If the network traffic isn't hitting Apache, it has to be Wingate I think.
Unless you've buggered the Win2k server, which is possible, but unlikely.
I've also never heard much good about Windows firewall systems, but then I
only know one person who runs one, and he runs a freeware one, I imagine that
you might get better paying for it....
Cheers,
Alex.
