Yeah, it's also supposed to preload lots of stuff too, like Office.

I'd let you know if I was actually able to download the thing - this is going 
to take ages over a 56K modem ;( I also wrote a script to pull the thing 
automatically, however, it doesn't work. I don't know whether they're doing 
something like checking HTTP_REFERER, but my script was pulling the exact 
same links as Konqueror (doing a lynx --source) and it was getting a 408 or 
404. Which is pretty weird. It also got redirected at least once, so I wonder 
whether they're doing some checking on the downloads. 

That kind of sucks if they are, since they shouldn't really care who's 
downloading it how, as it's GPL software. If only someone would mirror it 
somewhere!!

I would also be interested in trying the OpenOffice builds, but it wasn't 
immediately clear whether or not 638c (IIRC?) was an equivilent build to the 
StarOffice 6.0 beta release, or what the differences between the two were. I 
presume it is, and very little, but I couldn't tell for sure.

I still can't get over the file size though :S
