Re: [Sheflug] File systems
First things first; you are most certainly James 2. Secondly, Linux, or more
specifically Suse7.2, will not mount an NTFS drive. At all. If you go
through a complicated bit of stff involving win98 , linux, then win2k, you
will be able to dual boot into an NTFS drive, but thats about as far as it
goes. If youre adamant about being about to mount the windows bit, then
you'll have to keep it as fat32. Since you presumably want to access some
sort of data you'll be storing on windows, you might want to consider an
extra partition as FAT32 which can be used to store data , and then you can
install and dual boot to win2k on another NTFS partition, that way Linux and
windows will both be able to see only the data bit, na dneither will be able
to screw with each others important stuff.
Hope that clears it up. It, being life the universe and all. My head hurts.
James (1) (... but since im 1, i dont think i need to include this bit do i?
nope..)
