IIRC, you can get a 'unixlib' for use with gcc on riskyos, and I think a lot
of stuff ports over a la Cygwin. Once you have gcc and a basic c library
though, it's usually just a matter of building the rest of the components (I
think the unixlib was like a posix thing, to fill in when riscos left out
needed bits).
