Actually, the heads of both schools are women and are certainly 
non-techie... not that there's any correlation between the two of course. 
They're excellent head teachers (well, one of them is anyway) but they 
really don't have time to get involved in extraneous activities. We tend to 
use local system builders to supply the hardware but they tend never to 
have heard of Linux (if it doesn't run Micro$oft, it can't be a PC). Other 
than than, they provide us with a very good service.

Maybe Linux might be an option for the "invisible" tasks such as network 
and file servers etc. The teaching staff would be pretty alarmed to see 
anything other than Windoze when they turn their PC's on.
