Try using "\\" to specify a backslash ... this is untested, but I recall that
there are some special escapes you can put in an issue file to print things
like tty, kernel revision etc, which start with a backslash (eg, \t). Usually
when backslash is used as an escape character, saying '\\' will print what
you want.
If that doesn't work, then I don't know without reading the man pages :)
