I now have my greased turkey installed :) Actually (funnily), it seems
that the http:// mirrors update quicker than the ftp:// ones... although
that may have been round-robin dns playing tricks on me.

I didn't bother.
Seems better, from initial use. Not the huge leap I had last time
(2.4.1->2.4.9 IIRC), but slightly smoother. Less beating and thrashing
on occasion. Quick. I have Ximian GNOME installed on Debian testing,
running Nautilus, Moz 0.9.5 (I think) and Evolution beta1, and it's
actually quick (P3, 128Mb). On the previous kernel (2.4.9), it was good,
but bogged down occasionally. It hasn't done that on me yet, and I've
been using it most of today (trying to figure out what was happening to
my email - seems one of my mail servers was down a lot of today :( )
Cheers,
Alex.
