Yep, searching Debian.org earlier came back with Mozilla-0.9.6-3 as an
unstable package.

I've never used Sid, and the Woody dist-upgrade was a little bit of
messing around. (Couple of packages were held back - I'm still very
clueless with apt if it's any more complex than apt-get update,
apt-get install foo.)  

This is for use on my laptop, which I'd have to reinstall to Potato
base before dist-upgrading, and I dunno if I can be bothered at the
moment.

I'm assuming from this that there are no Mozilla packages built
specifically for Pototo?
