	Erm, that is probably because debian now does some magic stuff
with locales (it only uses the ones you tell it to use). Simple to fix:
1.- Edit /etc/locale.gen
2.- Add the locale you want (say, en_GB ISO-8859-1, or presumably
de_DE@euro ISO-8859-15, or both :D)
3.- Run locale-gen

	See if by re-generating the locales it goes away.
