[Sheflug] Telnet?

Hi everyone, and season's greetings from Spain... Right, my mum got this
internet browser for mums, and as it happens, it is quit a bit of an
achievement: one of these intel dot stations, a celeron micro, and
running Linux and mozilla (which I am using at the moment). Quite neat.
The whole UI is done in XUL, and it is really easy to use. Anyway,
impressed as I was, the system is quite limited (i.e., I can't get any
fortran compiler in :D), and it really is just a dumb terminal with
mozilla in it, it uses mozilla for messages, AIM and calendars...
Right, problems time. I want to access my faithful computer in
Sheffield, which I can do either by using ssh or telnet (former
preferred). Because the dotStation doesn't have acces to binaries, I
have tried to locate a java applet that allows for telnet (and have
found some), but that run in the browser. I have found one, but couldn't
get it to work as it only had a few MUDs as telnettable hosts. Can
anyond suggest any other options? As I said, I only have a browser
available...

Cheers,
José
