Not quite :) Sid will never, ever, ever be 'released' - he's a naughty
boy and should stay locked up.

woody (testing), on the other hand, _is_ nearing release and is pretty
good. Although my fonts in X are nadgered at the moment - I run a
combination of potato/testing/Ximian, which has interesting effects
sometimes. (Btw- 'nearing' for values of 'nearing'=='this year
sometime').

If you start to add odd apt lines (like Ximian), make sure you know how
to hold packages, state versions (i.e., =1.3.6-ximian2) and really you
ought to use dselect. However, the interface to dselect sucks. The
interface to apt is pretty good, but you'll find yourself doing a lot of
'apt-get -f install', 'dpkg --reconfigure ..' and stuff like that
because it doesn't get dependencies right, whereas dselect does.
