[Sheflug] Unable to Install SuSe Linux 7.3

It may be a bad Idea but i was trying to Insatll SuSe Linux 7.3 (professional edition) on one of my old machie. The configuration of Machine is

Compaq Desk Pro 2000/5233MMX 
RAM - original 32 and ten added one are 32MB + 128MB
hard Disk Added for Linux - 15 GB maxtor

When SuSe is trying to install the modules i am geting many errors and then finally installation hangs after 10%. I am mentionin the few initial errors from the log screen generated during installing

1)Package /var/adm/mount/SuSe/a1/cpio.rmp not found
2) rmp -- root/mnt --dbpath /var/lib/rpm/ -U -- replacepkgs -- oldpackage -- replacefiles --ndeps --ignoresize --percent -- noscript /var/adm/mount/SuSe/a1/fileutils.rpm
retrun:1
Error


Can someone help me to find the possible cause of error

I have following doubt

1) The BIOS may not be able to read the hard drive for size greater then 8 GB

2) The RAM added is not correct

3) SuSe Installation CD got corrupted

4) ANy other Hardware problem
