[Sheflug] BeOS

Hi all,
I know we are a Linux and BSD crowd, but it was pointed to me
that you can get an ISO of BeOS from http://www.beosonline.com. The site
is mostly in German, and I understand that it is a repacking of some
user version that was put out in the past for evaluation or somesuch.

Now, I am trying to decide whether this is k3w1 373373 wa3z or
if it is legit, even though the latter seems to apply so I have
downloaded it and have baked the iso :-)

The whole point is to see how it sits in my home computer (a
k6-2 266MHz with a meagre 64 megs), which is a bit of a dog with X and
my 2 meg graphics card. I also see that most of the stuff I use at home
is available with BeOS (the odd PHP/MySQl can be done in Linux with dual
booting), and hey, it's a new OS to install, which gives me something to
do on sleepless nights... So I was wondering whether anyone used BeOS
before, and what do they have to say about it.

Somehow, it feels a bit like asing about the Atari ST (even
though we all _know_ that the Amiga is _far superior_ D)
